i went into my coop this morning to collect my eggs!....look what i pulled out!...HOLY COW what a SURPRISE!!!!!!!!!!!!
how could it be this big???!....do you think she missed laying a day and layed a monster jumbo today??????!!!!!!

LOL - I had the same experience the other day - my husband went to collect eggs and pulled this one. My reaction was OMG - poor girl. Since then, we have had a few more from the BCMs.......

My first layer laid a double yolk like that the very first try. She was definintely a bit troubled the day before but I didn't know what for till the next day and WOW. Poor girl. There was some blood I noticed way later that must have come from her. She skipped a day and then was back on track. Her eggs are smaller now than the next layers lay. I wonder if she will even out?
