I would so buy it just for the fun of trying to "upgrade it." if you could get all the gizmos of modern technology fitted in (ceremic bulb, gaugues, auto turning) but have it looking as cool as that it would be so classy!

Don't change it, just clean it up and use the shelves for recyclables or to put your taters and onions in. Use the top as an extra serving area. Way cool!

We just love stuff like that - We took down some walls in our house which left a long microlam beam area at the ceiling - on 1 side we have a WW1 airplane propellor (8 ft long) and on the other side we have the original train station sign from our town that the demolition people were putting in the trash pile! Think the stations been gone some 50 years or so.

I also wish I was young enough to think that could have been from the 60s or 70s.

Very nice . I saw one on an auction but it had a glass door and it was three sectionsit was going for around 900.00 dollars .I wish I was there to bid on it . I hope you get it .
