Yellow urates; red comb and wattles

I would give the hen who laid the lash egg a calcium tablet. You can give one daily for up to a week. Meloxicam and antibiotic are what most vets would with. What strength is you meloxicam?

She has been getting calcium for 3 days now b/c I found a broken softshell inside her. She has pushed that out. I will continue for the next 4 days. I also have her on my coveted amoxicillin. Her yellow urates are clearing up.

I have both the 0.5 mg/ml and 1.5 mg/ml. She doesn't seem to be in pain, but I know chickens hide their pain well.
