Hi everyone!
Well, it's a few weeks later and my pullets and cockerels are all about 13 weeks old now. We hatched 4 black star pullets and 6 cockerels. (Yikes!) But I just LOVE how at least two of my cockerels are turning out....they almost look like Cream Legbars. They have these beautiful teal sickle feathers, too. This particular one loves to be cuddled at night; I don't know how long that will last but we are enjoying him! He certainly is handsome....
So, dad is a Rhode Island Red, mom is a Barred Rock. This is how one of the offspring turned out turned out so far....
