Check staring up at sky - head bent back to tail

Come this morning the chick is dead. But I'm just curious what it was from.

Stargazing, wry neck, crook neck, torticollis, and opisthonotos are mostly the same things. With a young chick, it may have come from a vitamin deficiency in the parent stock. Sorry for your loss. Here are some links to read:
