Check this out. The 'NO PEEL' hard boiled egg

I tried it and it didn't work for me

the only thing I find that works is to let the eggs age for about a week or so and then boil them.

I run my hardboiled eggs under cold water just long enough to hold them - then I gentle crack the shell and roll it until it's totally crackeled all over and then I peel it off - it works every time - but I'm telling ya - you gotta have a high tolerance for heat because it is really hot - if it's too intolerable, I hold it under the cold running water as I peel it.

So....... I told my 'granny' about this. She just called and told me she blew her false teeth across the kitchen floor!

Edited to add: She did say the no peel method worked.

I tried this with 5 eggs the first time in a small pot and it worked great. Last night I tried with 10 eggs in a bigger pot and did not work so well. I'm wondering if I should have used more baking soda since I had more eggs in bigger pot of water?

I usually take the deviled eggs to potluck at church on 5th Sundays since we're the ones with chickens.

But wouldn't they be easier to peel without necessarily "blowing" them out of their shells?

ETA: My DH just informed me that he learned how to do this in cubscouts....
