Here’s a one off question. Anyone ever find unwanted surprises in their hard boiled eggs? I like hard boiled eggs and want to use our fresh, fertile eggs BUT I’m haunted (a little bit) by what may be.

Unless they are allowed to be incubated, there should be no more 'unwanted surprises' in fertile eggs than in non fertile. There is always the outside possibility of a parasite or a lash egg - I'm rather old and have never experienced either.

Thank You for the reply. I suppose we’ll just have to get over the ‘ never gave it a thought’ mindset we’ve lived by for years with store bought eggs.
