Mt RIR lay some really big eggs, but I don't think they are that big!!

I'm gonna have to measure now. Are you gonna eat it? Looks big enough for a omlet all by itself.

Ya gotta tell us how many yolks. Put it in a measuring glass when you open it to measure the contents too.

Our width is 2 inches and the length is 2 1/2 inches.

I'm pretty sure that egg you got is quite larger.

ok this may siound dumb but what happens if u try to hatch a double yolked egg? do u get twins or is it possible to hatch one if it is double yolked...........hmmmmmm...im so curious now lol

I knew it HAD to be a double yolker!!!!


Chickenaddict-- doulble yolk eggs, usually don't make it to hatching. They run out of room and end up with too little of an air sac. I've heard of people trying, but I've not heard of any success and everyone always says they'd never try again.
