i just read the thread cynthia posted with pictures about fertile vs. infertile eggs, and it was really interesting.

but i have some eggs here that are not as obvious. i am sure this is due to my inexpertise, but i'm trying to learn. we got a roo and yesterday and today he covered most if not all the girls.

to me, based on the thread/pics i mentioned, the dark marigold (EE, fyi) yolked egg looks fertile. the other four i am not sure about.

your thoughts on first glance? thank you so much.

The only sure-fire way to know if they're fertile or not is to incubate some. I don't mess with trying to figure out if it has a bullseye or not.....I stick some in the bator.

no bator yet,but i have a strong feeling that there is one in my near future....this is just an awful chicken affliction i've caught from you all.

I agree that they look fertile, but if you plan on selling them you definitely need to test hatch some first.
