Just wanted to take a minute to introduce myself

I mostly raise Bobwhite Quail - somewhere between1-10k year, depending on my mood and if I can find an egg supplier :-)

Started out to just raise a few to work my Weimaraner, then things got crazy and I couldn't keep up. Once folks found out I was raising them, everyone wanted birds and I ended up not having any for me to work the dog, so I am increasing my hatch numbers and seeing where that takes me.

We make our home in the Lowcountry of SC and manage to find time to visit family and friends a few times a year.
 
Welcome to Backyard chickens. I would certainly guess that you are a true quail expert by now. Maybe you should be answering questions in the quail thread. Do you also raise and hunt Weimaraners ?

I don't raise Weimies, but I don't ever see me not having at least one as I do hunt behind them when I can find the time. Usually quail, but we do try to get on some pheasants in SD every year.
