Checking out the First Hay Bales

Some of my flock just had to check out the hay bales. Guess they knew that the bales were sold & didn't want any bugs to leave the farm or maybe they were inspecting the roll who knows their curious animals.

Thanks !! I was sitting in my golf cart talking to a freind. The bale had just been rolled & Red Ryder my roo jumped up on it & naturally the girls followed.

My chickens do the same thing. they're looking for grains. I have to cover the bale in my yard because they will spread it all over the yard.
