Checking the eggs for veins

How do i check my eggs that my hen is setting on to see which ones are doing ok. since she is setting on to many eggs i need to get some out. but dont want to take out the wrong ones. She is about two weeks into setting on them. thanks

candle them, and do a search here on the board, there are some great pictures of what to look for.

Also mark the eggs you keep under her if she's not separated. Otherwise others can try to sneak their eggs in, which could result in her leaving the nest with the babies and leaving the rest of the eggs behind.
