Don't know how Black Jack #57 compares pricewise (a 5 gal bucket is around $50) but that's another painted-on option to consider that will seal seams and waterproof pretty well. Downside is there's some temperature/humidity restrictions during application.

Don't know how well it would take to having sand raked over it daily but I've used a metal rake and shovel on mine and so far it still looks good.

definitely somthing to think about now would be the time before it actually gets used for anything and soaks up ammonia or somthing to ruin the adheasion. Sounds reasonable price wise assuming it will more than cover a 160sq ft.

I have about 75% of my 5 gal bucket left. My coop is 60 sq ft and I applied 2 coats on the floor and about 1' up on the wall studs.

Probably use this stuff on floors and walls both regardless of what other floor material I use. like the idea of this stuff and a sheet of linoleum I can pull out to hose off. And cover the walls especially by roosts and high use/poop areas so when it comes time for a spring cleaning I can get it god and clean and also should I have some kind of disease get in the flock I can evacuate quarantine and clean out and sanitize before putting anyone b ack in with exposed pourous wood I'd always be afraid the bugs may slip by and re infect.

I got a vinyl remnant for 35 bucks. Was 8x9 or something like that. Only need a 6x6 piece. The other scrap will line the nesting boxes.

I used Black Jack On my 8 x 12 coop and did 2 coats. I have more than 1/2 left, of the 5 gallons. If you use this, turn the can upside down 1 or 2 days before using it and it will mix easier. There is a lot of thick stuff on the bottom. It's still gonna take you 15 minutes to stir it good though. I used this piece of wood, one hand high for leverage and the other low, worked good for me.

I used plywood for my floor and use pine shavings.

If you use linoleum it may not be necessary to glue it down; if it is one piece and fitted you will be able to shovel litter out without problem. If it wears it you can remove and replace easily.

That's what I did...got a good heavy duty foam backed vinyl(don't go 'cheep') for floor and poop boards, it's held up well for 5 years now. It wouldn't be 'easy' to replace, was a bear getting it in there, but at least it's not glued in.

I would be concerned that the thinset would crack and lift if there is any flex in the OSB.

Wasnt planning to hose anything down inside. Was thinking if i leave linoleum unglued down i could pull it out for hose down if desired. I sure wouldnt want to deal with a soaking wet coop.
