My eggs are due to hatch today.. one started pipping yesterday,, he/she's making a lot of sounds, but still no zipping. Seems to take forever. The little chickie has cracked a circle about the size of a dime and the loose egg part is flappin' in and out. Hope today is the day!

Love the video! Makes me want to hatch some baby chickies but were only allowed to have 3 chickens here and I'm at my limit. I thought it was so adorable that she cheeped every time you talked to her. So cute!

I'm amazed at how quickly and easily all 4 chicks zipped and hatched, once they decided to get going

Look at them a day after hatching!

Moms are white silkies, dad is partridge with a hint of frizzle genes - can't wait to see how these babies grow up!
