Missing our rooster tonight. I know you guys love to post pictures of your beautiful boys, and seeing some photos of gorgeous roosters will cheer me up immensely, Rooster pics anyone?

OH MY, what happened to your roo, that is sad.......here are my 3 boyz,

Little Ceasar [serama]
1000

Stubby [serama]
1000

And my MAIN MAN Pharow! [AGF/OEGB ]

1000

Oh, he's fine, I think. We had to rehome him when the neighbors complained about the noise. We never meant to have a rooster, he was a pullet bin baby, but the yard has just lost some of it's sparkle since he left...

Wow, all your boys are so gorgeous, that Pharow is quite statuesque, and I LOVE Stubby's tail!

Here's one of Birdie before we gave him up, it's my favorite picture of him.

What did the fish say when he swam into a wall? Dam. Sorry, that was the best joke I could come up with.

BAD NEIGHBORS! I am SO lucky that I can keep roosters. Pharow has let me know tho that HE doesn't want anymore roosters. He tolerates Ceasar and Stubby is such a goofball that Pharow doesn't even pay attention to him. I cannot pick up another rooster in Pharow presence, he will attack me.....you can see him saying: "MINE! hands off buster"

I know! He was just one rooster and such a sweet boy. He would sit on my arm for mealworms and give some of his treats straight to the girls. I thought he had a lovely crow. Much nicer than the barking dogs and hollering children and roaring trucks in any neighborhood. Humph! That's adorable that Pharow is so jealous of you. :)

So sorry that you had to give up your boy! I'm in the same boat. I had to re-home my gorgeous Buckeye boy a couple weeks ago. Luckily my parents were able to take him, so I know he has a fantastic home. It seems like my flock has lost its personality with him gone.

Aw, I'm sorry about your rooster. That's great that he has a new home and bevy of ladies to charm. We had to re-home our two roosters right before Christmas last year, and I sure missed the little characters. But it's nice to have happy neighbors and it's definitely easier when the chickens have to stay in the run!
