I have to admit, that was a bit of creative editing. There was about 8 minutes (reduced to 1 minute) that they stayed away to drink water, poop, stretch their crops. But nobody wants to watch a watermelon just sit

But you have to love how everyone leaves and even at 8x speed Tevye is slow to get the memo.

Yep, he's a little drake, unfortunately. :/ So that sucks...but there IS a glimmer of hope, the BYC member who is taking him in has a friend who's having a call duck hatch happening right now! She said she's not sure she's cool with letting me have one single duckling, which is totally understandable. I raised Wobbles solo and he turned out perfectly fine, but I know it's not ideal. So here's hoping she says yes and I can get my little girl AND a great home for Pancake in one fell swoop!

I so feel bad...Hils and I have been trying not to bond with Pancake as much since we know we can't keep him. I'd love to try, but Wobbles is so territorial, and if Pancake started to view me as his mate like Wobbles has, it would be an utter disaster.
