Opened the door yesterday afternoon but they weren't very interested. We removed the last of the cockerels yesterday so they were in a bit of a tizzy anyway. Laverne came down the ramp and onto the stump a couple of times but no farther. No surprise that it was her. She is the adventurous one. I'll open it up again this evening when I get home.

I find it quite interesting after re-homing the last of the cockerels that the one that has emerged as the leader of the pack is #7. She's the little wry neck Black Australorp that we nursed back to health. She was the first one on the ground in the run and it's become obvious over the last couple of days that she is in charge. We thought for sure that it was going to be Laverne but apparently not.

Here she is on her maiden voyage in the run.
