Chest Bumping Match in the brooder

I have an Americuna chick & a Frizzled Banty chick having a Chest Bumping Match in my brooder right now...LOL

They are so funny

I brought home new chicks last night & did some rearranging. Some of my older chicks went to the coop with a few of the older of the new chicks (7 total, 5 new) and I added the remaining new chicks to the brooder (15 in there total with 3 being new). The Frizzle is about 3 1/2 weeks old & the Ameri is less than a week (which makes them about equal in size). Frizz is the biggest of the older chicks with Molly being the biggest (still in the brooder) of the new chicks. Establishing the pecking order very early here

2 of my chicks just did that for the first time this morning too. It's adorable!

I've had others do it to a lesser degree in the past couple weeks, but these 2 went at it off & on for over an hour!!!!

And there they go AGAIN!!!
