Chest Freezer Chill Tank

Older ones don't, but most new ones do have fans. You can easily cover over them by gluing 1/8th inch PVC sheeting over them using PVC glue. They sort of melt together becoming like a solid piece.

Be sure to disconnect the electrical connections for the fans so they don’t over heat causing a fire. They are usually fastened by an electrical connector that can be unplugged.

The seams are well sealed and can take a lot of weight without breaching.

Wow Jaku, burning the midnight oil. LOL Oh, that's right, you work nights don't you. I looked in my chest freezer, and the only hole is the drain hole. I'm not sure how these things actually work.

Haha, yup- "working" hard.

I wish I would have thought to build a chill tank this way before I just built one!!
