We finally had weather warm enough to get the chicks outside for a bit today (in Wisconsin)! They had a blast and it was such a fun experience interacting with them outside the brooder. How often to folks try to get their little ones out? The weather hasn’t been cooperating but we want to get them lots of outside time before they move to their coop (which won’t be another 4-5 weeks as they are just over 2 weeks old now).

I start taking them out at about 1-2 weeks old, as often as the weather cooperates! They love being out there, trying to eat everything they can get their little beaks on!
This batch found an ant hill. It was gone in days.
