Chick “eyeliner”

One of my chicks has markings around her eyes that look like very heavy eyeliner and before we give her a name based on that feature I wanted to ask, will she keep the eyeliner/stripes or will they disappear? I’ll post a pic when I get home. She’s either an olive egger or an Americana (we have one of each and they’re nearly identical).

Olive egger, Easter egger, are americaunas with an 'i', which is a label they stick on any chicken that lays a colored egg. ameracaunas are a real breed. americaunas aren't a real breed, they are just anything that lays a blue, green, or pink egg.

It'll disappear. Chicks change in color/markings a lot as they grow out of chick fluff and into adulthood, so the fun thing with EEs/OEs is you never really know what they'll look like until they grow up.
