Is the egg under a broody hen? If so, trust that she knows by instinct what to do. Just don't look (easier said than done, I know). Maybe try to keep yourself occupied, read a book, watch a movie, etc. My girl had one under her overnight that was only about half-way zipped. About mid morning, approximately 12 hours into the hatch, the little peeper finally came out. I don't know when or how cuz I got busy with work and stuff, but it was sooooo hard not to just glue myself to the henhouse and watch!
