Chick age when ready for nipple waterer

I have 5 week old chicks. Are they old enough to introduce a horizontal nipple waterer? Thanks

definitely you can, I did. Works great, much less checking on chicks to find water full of wood shavings, tipped over, or full of poop...

I've been using them since day 1 with my chicks with no problem.
