Hello all, so I posted here last night, and I thought I was just going to have that one post and leave. But I suppose this seems like a nice place to be educated and perhaps learn all there is to know about both Ducks and Chickens one day. As of currently, I have 4 healthy chicks, and 3 healthy ducklings and one duckling who's getting over splay leg but is going strong and I'd say he's quite healthy too!

I've already learned quite a bit but still need to learn some things. I'll post some pictures of my ducklings and chicks below :)

G'Day from down under Liasse :frow Welcome!

I am pleased you decided to stick around and hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.

BYC has Topic of the Week discussions which I have found to be a great resource, informative and sometimes entertaining; so definitely worth checking out. There are some down the bottom of the page which are duck specific.

Your babies are adorable! If you would like to share Pictures and Stories of them, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out ;)

Including your general location on your profile will assist others. Location, climate, season etc can be important factors when members are responding to any questions you may have and vice versa.

You might want to also Find Your State Thread and pop in and say hello.

:welcome

It seems there is always something new to learn when you raise poultry. Glad to have you here and it's nice to know everyone is doing well!
