noticed a chick running around the brooder with something in her beak, it was a small strip of plastic.
it looked to be about the size of those wire twist ties that come in a box of trash bags.
appeared to be plastic from a shopping bag.
i tried to catch her but all the other 23 chicks were also after what she had, so she was on the run.
not being able to catch her she managed to swallow it. is this going to harm the chick?
is there anything i can do to help the situation? provide more grit.....? i hope she's not in trouble...
