Chick beak trimming?.

I wasn't sure where to post this. I have a few chicks (2 weeks old) who have top beaks longer than bottom beaks and I've noticed that they seem to have trouble with the chick crumble I feed them.

Do I need to worry about trimming their beaks a little? Will they be ok? Are there other options that will work? I really want these babies to thrive.

It looks perfectly fine to me. As long as it’s not crossed. Cute little fluff ball.

Too young to worry about an overgrown beak. It looks normal. Once a day try adding a little chick starter to some water in a small dish. That is easier to eat and most chickens love it.

I've been doing that each day. I wet down about a cup of their chick starter and give it to them and you would think it was the best treat ever. I've been a little concerned about their growth, but Icelandics are smaller birds, so it's hard to compare to prior chicks I've incubated, which are twice the size.
