I need some advice on my baby chicks behavior. Hopefully I'm just being an overprotective chicken mommy haha. Two of my chicks were born in 10/28 and the other two on 11/1. Lately they have been acting strange. One of the younger ones and one of the older ones will walk around for a bit before sitting/laying down and when the other two come near them they seem to scoot. I have seen the other two do this but not nearly as much. Any suggestions as to what they could be doing, or if I'm just overreacting.

Thanks!

Pecking order dictates that those lower in the order get out of the way of higher ranking birds. Chicks establish a pecking order the same as adult birds (though the order may change, as the birds mature).

I've attached a picture of how they're sitting. What I mean by scoot is when they plop down to the ground they'll sort of walk as they're low to the ground.
Not really sure what you mean by "scoot" ... Sounds normal to me if you're meaning the ones sitting/laying down will get up and walk away.
