Hi. How long is Chick Boost Probiotic good for once hydrated? I made up a gallon of it and put the extra in the fridge. How many days is it good for? In the future, should I just make it fresh daily in a smaller amount? Thanks for your help.

Usually the manufacturer says how long, but I don't see that information on their packaging or website.

Refrigerated, I would probably keep it for a couple of days, but yes i would make a smaller amount at a time - maybe a 1/2 gallon?

Also, Personally, I would not provide that every day for 8 weeks as suggested. Chicks need fresh plain water to drink as well. I do give vitamins and/or vitamin-electrolytes to my chicks but usually only a couple of days a week - for chicks I change out water several times a day and even when I provide vitamins/electrolytes, they still have plain water available too.

I might use an electrolyte solution, and separate plain water, for a couple of days, if they are stressed after shipping. Otherwise, it's plain water only. There are probiotics in the Flock Raiser that they eat, so good enough.
Healthy chicks need plain water and chick feed, and will be fine.
