chick born with splayed legs never mind found the solution

This chick came out of a smallish egg for it's size and it's legs are slightly splayed making it had for the little guy to right itself. it's feet also curl under ever so slightly.

I heard you can make braces but I am a very detail oriented person. can someone give me some in depth detailed way on how to build little braces to straiten the cutie out? right now I have him in a cup with a towel so he can sit up and see the activity. He will need to eat and drink eventually though.

I greatly appreciate any advice. Thanks

up date i searched the forum for other posts with the same problem and found a thread with pictures and put the little guy in hobbles. Thanks to those that responded already.

I had this happen to me several years ago. I'm not sure how I managed to find it, but on this forum I did find a post with the information you're looking for--as well as photos. What I did with my little guy was to take a band-aid and hobble his legs together--it sounds horrible but he was able to move, and walk around relatively well. Hope this helps.
