So I have a new baby chick that can't bend his leg. I looked up 'splayed leg' like I was told to but it's not the same.. it's literally spread all the way back behind him and he can't bend it back (even though it is possible its just a little stiff) so he can't walk, he just lays there and peeps. Any ideas what to do here? If I just leave him he's going to die like this.

Ok, so I have it vet wrapped so that the leg is bent, but it still slides right back out and behind her.. it almost seems like it's in her hip

Poor thing can't even try to stand up.

A pic would help me if you have one.

I have a chick that is hopelessly pigeon toed and she took about 2 days to stand up and now she is bowl legged and pigeon toed!

Her name is Gimpy.

LOL Gimpy, I love that! I have a chicken that had frost bite on her toes, lost all of those and then her other foot (the entire thing

) So we call her Stumpy now. And so far I really have no idea what to do with this one.. it's a lot stronger than it was yesterday, it can really move around the brooder with just that one leg pushing her around lol. I'll get a picture later.. but it's like it's in her hip, that's what's giving the resistance.
