Chick can't stand or walk!

I posted this in the injured forum but no one had any idea so lets see if you folks can help.

The chick is 2 days old and had a rough time hatching. It was never able to stand and had to be washed to get goo off. One leg is fine. the other wont bend it can move it but it just wont bend enough to get underneath so it can stand. It is so strong and chirps a lot. It uses its good leg to scoot around the brooder. Here is a pic of the leg hope someone can help because this little one just wants to make it!!!

Have you tried splinting it?

Yeah, there are different ways to do it so you might want to research them and see what your favorite is. I like the bandaid method myself where you take a bandaid and wrap each sticky end around each leg and that helps to pull them straight. Let me know how it works.

What happened is it was stuck in its shell and when they first hatch their legs grow incredibly fast, meanwhile it is still stuck in the egg. The result of this is deformed or useless legs. I have a chick with a milder case of it. There isn't much you can do.
