I have a day old Silkie X chick who has a seriously splayed leg. When she tries to stand up she flails around and falls. We think she slipped while standing up in our incubator. She's very weak but won't eat or drink. Who foot is also turned out, so clubfoot and splayed.
    Please help!!!!
One of her sister got caught in her surrogate mother fluff and her wing is swollen and the ends look dead. Any advice?
Please, please, please help. I'm really scared they're going to die!
I've tried taping and she squirmed around and couldn't get up at all.

The chick appears to have a slipped tendon, or other bone deformity. Sometimes a slipped tendon can be fixed by moving the tendon back in place and vet wrapping it each day until it stays, but this is not successful that often. A twisted or rotated tibia is not fixable. Vitamins may help if it is a deficiency, or a chick chair may help to get her up so she can eat. Sorry about your chick. Here is an example of a chick chair, until you decide how to proceed:

    Thanks for your help :)
We've had another look, it doesn't appear to be a slipped tendon, it actually looks like a chicken version of Cerebral Palsy with her limbs.
Her left leg is bending back over her wing and she is constantly squirming around
We're not sure what to do at this stage and think we'll just leave it for a few days and watch how it goes :\
