chick can't stand

one of my jersey giants hatched around 7pm, but still cant stand up...could something be wrong?

Some take a little longer to get up and running. All you can do is let it rest for now. I wouldn't worry unless it is still not walking tomorrow.

Oh my gosh, yes it takes longer that that for them to get up and around. You will also notice that even after you put them in the brooder, they wobble. Oh and they look dead as a doornail when they sleep. Don't freak out.

lol yes they do. i have the brooder right next to my couch and everytime one is sleeping, i run over to check and make sure they are still breathing!
