Chick can't walk...fixable or cull?

Hi All, today is a little better. She is still isolated in my old brooding box, but she is up off her haunches and hoping around a bit. Her left leg is still very splayed and when she sits she immediately falls back with her feet in the air, but she rights herself pretty quickly. Not sure when I'm going to send her out to the coop--I'm afraid if I wait too long the broodies who are caring for the rest of the hatch wont take care; but if i send her out too soon, this will definitely go south...I'll post video shortly!

So as you can see this is far better than it was yesterday when she was a mobile. I'm half tempted to go stuff her out under the broody's tonight so she can just integrate a little more seamlessly. Any thoughts on how long I should keep her out of gen pop?

Oh, she is so cute...I'm sorry it sounds like she didnt recover. Is that the case? Do you have any idea how it happened?
Well she’s still alive, but i have to hand feed and water her, I don’t know if I should take her to the vets as everyone keeps chickens for food here, and mine are pets. Unfortunately I don’t, i was away for a week when she was about 3 weeks old, and didn’t really notice till about a week later. She was like yours, until she just doesn’t move anymore. I don’t really think she’s grown either. Maybe she could have got stood on? Or a vitamin deficiency? I do hope it isn’t mareks.
Glad yours is looking better :)

Even in full free range settings I have seen mama hens step on their chicks repeatedly in just one day. Baby chicks bones are flexible and seldom if ever break. Besides any blow or physical insult sufficient to break a chick's bones would be severe enough to kill the chick out right. I think that your special needs chick is either suffering from a vitamin/mineral deficiency or more likely has a defect somewhere in its family tree.
The problem may even rest with the diet of this chick's mother and/or father.
