chick can't walk

Day old chick is only walking on one leg .The other has a swollen knee.Anything to do besides cull it

You can try to brace the knee. You dont always have to cull a chicken in this condition. It you look at my previous post Goldie was unable to walk when I got her. In the months I had her she walked with a limp it all depends on how much time you are willing to invest. Goldie was in the splits position when she came to me

I've had the same problem but my chick is between two or three weeks old he's laying down and when he does walk its on one foot the other kinda stays folded underneath him

Goldie had the same problem. with alot of care and about 6 weeks of working with her she was walking on her own with a limp. Her leg never fully recovered but she was not in pain and lived a good and very loved life to the end. So stay positive and please keep me informed.
