Chick comb

I tried looking this up but couldn't quite find the answer.

I just hatched a chick whose mama is a BSL and daddy is an EE. The chick's comb is large compared to the others'. I'm assuming this chick has a single comb and the others have pea combs. Is it typical for single combs to be so large on a new chick?

Well you could have a cockerel- is that what you are referring to? Can you post a picture?
