chick crawling on his nee,s

i have a little chick that hatched and his feet are deformed but he doesnt even walk on his feet he just crawls on his little nee,s i put shoes on him and he still crawls on his nee,s and the other chicks pick on him. what is it called when they walk on their nee,s like that and how is it fixed??

If the legs are under the chick, it should be fine. Chicks don't walk too well their first day, so it should be up and running in no time. You can gently stretch out the feet to help them straighten out. This is usually caused (if not from genetics) by low humidity during hatch, or a late hatcher.
