Chick development questions

Hello---my 2 1/2 week old Australorp has funny sticking up feathers on one side---they don't seem to tuck under? I'm a newbie and just wondered if this is normal. Thanks for taking the time to respond.

I found this chart that shows the development of a chick to an adult. A leghorn is used as an example. It also points out differences between pullets and cockerels. I found it very helpful as I had the same question.
