There is no min limit here, but yes, I knew this, these two will be 5 total. the place i get them didn't have all the chicks i wanted the same day. I got two at a time, first two are two weeks older, second two, the one died, and today I got two more for 5 total, unless one of these dies too. I am in GA, and in my county it goes my lot size, I think I figured I could have up to 18, but I don't want that many. Not sure what state u r in but ny the state minimum purchase is 6 chicks. Chickens are not solitary animals and do not thrive on their own. I would recommend get a few more. Although seems like everytime I walk into tractor supply I get at least six more!! I'm up to 41 so far..i may have an addiction
I know it already hurts, losing my barred rock, May. she was so sweet.Good luck with them!! I have lost a few babies this year and it was devastating for me. It's all part of being a chicken mamma though...
This is my little Jessie Quick. She is such a sweetie pie. Lets us pick her right up.Thanks so much! They are adorable. We named them ci ci and flash.
They seem to be, so far/ At first she cried for me a bit, but she seems to have calmed down now.Is the baby happy now that she has sisters?
