Chick doesn’t sit down?

I’ve posted a fair bit over the weekend about our hatch project chick who couldn’t walk.

We *think* we’ve fixed the slipped tendon and as if by a miracle, Hobbles started standing this morning and is now walking! A little wobbly as to be expected after 5 days of being unable to stand or move or feed independently, but we persevered.

What I had noticed throughout that was that Hobbles didn’t seem to have much movement below the knee or toes on that leg. Since I’ve moved two chicks back in with Hobbles, I’ve noticed they stretch their legs backwards and bend down to sleep sitting down. Hobbles hasn’t done these things yet. Does it just take time for them to use their legs? Especially if they’ve had days of being strapped/unable to use them? Just don’t want him to struggle with laying down to sleep, or if older trying to perch to roost.
