Chick Drinking Habits

My chicks r 3 weeks old & they seem 2 be drinking a lot of water. In fact, they drink more water then they eat food. Is this normal? I give them medicated starter & nothing else.

They can really put away the water when the air temp is warm. What type of chicks do you have? My laying chicks never seem to drink much but my Cornish X meat birds drank and drank!

I have silkies & eater eggers

As long as they are eating I'd say there is nothing to worry about.
