Chick dying within 12 hours of purchase

I got 3 Ayam Cemani chicks at 10pm yesterday. Went today to see the chicks 6 hours back & one of the chick seemed lethargic & sick. Tried giving it Tylosin in water and now that I went after 3 hours, that same chick is on its way out. Its dying. Now what in your view could be wrong with the chick?

Could it be that I was already given a sick chick? Its not even been 24 hours that the chick is gasping. Don't know why this world is after money & the game is all about money?!?

Are there cedar shavings in their brooder? A shatter proof heat light?

Yep, probably the company that raises those chickens cares more about the oh mighty dollar than a sweet, innocent fuzzy baby chick. Are the chicks eating? Drinking? Pooping?

You might have gotten a chick that simply wasnt thriving. It happens a lot with stor bought chicks.

Some chicks simply are not destined to make it, however sad that might be. The store might not have purposely sold a sick chick to you. A lot of the time with the weaker ones there is nothing anybody can do.

Have you tried giving the Save A Chick electrolytes and probiotics? You can buy them at most feed stores that sell chicks. I know for a fact that Southern States carries them (but you might not have that where you live). Also Poultry Nutridrench would be good to get in her.

Stores shouldn't sell chicks like that, really. I recently learned that companies cull out the poor baby roosters out of the 'pullets only' section.

So i got 3 chicks, one of them is not good at all....nodding head and first one eye was shut, now the other one is shut too...

the rest of the 2 are perfect... eating, drinking, running....

Thank you so much.. i was giving vitamins and egg... also i have a protein hand feed here so since it couldnt eat, i just gave a little amount to the sick chick in his mouth....
but let me check the ingredients of the ones you mentioned & i will get alternatives...

you know this guy claims to be a breeder of rare breeds... & still he swindled me off the money!
