Chick dying!

I'm so sorry for your chicky. I'm assuming from previous posts that you are not considering wry neck to be a possibility?

(Hard to tell from your photos) Thats an easy fix I believe but if you think momma squooshed him that's clearly not the problem.
If you think the poor thing is suffering unnecessarily and can't be helped, this a very sensitive article on culling:

I'm so sorry for your heartache. It's such a helpless feeling when we don't know how to help them!

I had no idea about wry neck. So I should start feeding it now? How should I provide him the powdered feed? And how long it's gonna take to fully recover? Also what about the warmth at night?

I haven't dealt with this condition myself but I've read about it. Lots of folks swear by NutriDrench to help with the possible vitamin deficiency. You may want to post on the Emergencies/Diseases forum asking if this could be wry neck. You're likely to get more informed help a little more quickly in that forum.

4 day old Chick suddenly not able to move it's shoulder and legs. What should I do? It was eating and drinking with the mom and suddenly this happened

im sorry about your chick. Hope-it recovers. I’m not sure if you would be interested but as a newbie I bought 2 books from mypetchicken.com That is very helpful- I have not gone through both books yet but it sounds like wry neck. I also enclosed a snap shot of typical signs of other things. Good luck...

I’m so sorry about your chick. We are just getting back into chickens after years of not having them and we’ve had a time. I ordered 20 eggs to be shipped from California to NC. On day 21, only one hatched and it took him about two days to get out. He seemed fine, and suddenly collapsed just short of 24 hours old. He died in my hands. We were all so emotionally invested in that little chick that it was heartbreaking. I truly feel for you, but am so glad the others are okay.
:hugs
