Chick eggs moving in incubator but still no hatch!!!!

4 of my eggs started rocking back & forth in the incubator on day 18 and now it is day 20 and still no pipping. They are still moving though. Do you think something is wrong with my humidity level or is this normal???

Are these Quail Eggs? Or Chicken Eggs? If they are Chickens eggs, 21 days

They are chicken eggs but I thought they only start moving when they are about to hatch but they've been rocking for 2 days now. Do u think I have a humidity problem & they're having a hard time pecking through the shell???

No worries mama, the rocking is them positioning themselves for hatch. The real nerves kick in when you hear a peep, and the little suckers don't pip until another day or so

) I also was expecting them to pip on 18th, 19th, 20th days (I'm still not sure why......) But lo and behold, a very loud, rather indignant 'PEEP' on the night before day 21 and she hatched the next morning! But then, her hatchmates took quite a bit longer. So, no worries so far!!

Well they finally hatched on day 23 thanks to a 12 hr power outage during the incubation period. Started out with 6 eggs and hatched 6 healthy chicks. Not so bad for first time but i think i'll use a hen next time, LOL!!
