CHICK Emergency!! Help please!!

Is the yolk fully absorbed into the abdomen? It appears so. I agree it will likely detach on its own here as the chick starts moving about more.

They are moving and active !! One just broke off and it slowly absorbing. Other is still dragging right now. But they are starting to dry off!

That's great! I imagine they well be just fine for you. Good job recognizing they needed some help after being pipped that long.

The other 21 were a breeze! I need a bigger incubator. Trouble is I fill it with 24 eggs and am getting anywhere 20 and 24 hatching each round and they run out of room. Thinking I'll invest in a second incubator for day 18 so I can lock thm down in 2 so they have more room!

Yes! It's good to have another. I have 3 and the one I most recently purchased at the recommendation of a friend is from the company below. I have the Genesis 1588. It is a beast for a table top and holds temp throughout which is hard to find! The fan motor is superior to others I have. It's much louder, but you know it's working and the display reads accurate to the extra thermometers and hydrometers I put inside to confirm accuracy.

Yes I agree I'd hate to loose chicks too. In my first hatch the last 2 had to be helped, 1 ended up having a deformity and the other was normal. I still have them, their names are Walter and Bluebell. I kept Walter because he wouldn't be good for breeding so if I sold him he'd probably be culled. Hope your chicks do well.
