Chick Eye Problem

Hello, one of my chicks has developed an eye problem (see pic). It seems that two ducklings in with the chicks have the same issue. I have never experienced this before. What is it and how do I treat it?? Also, what causes it? Could it be the ducks spilling water?

Hard to know the cause without testing. Could be a respiratory disease that affects both ducks and chickens.
Is it just the eyes or do you see mucous, sneezing, etc.?

I would flush the eyes with saline and apply an eye ointment like Terramycin. If you can't get Terramycin, then you can use Plain Neosporin. Clean the eyes/apply ointment 2-3 times a day.
