chick fights...

I witnessed my first chick fights today. Quite interesting. It was hard to leave the brooder....

oh ya! I love it when they do that!

thankfully ours never hurt each other.

I wouldn't call it a fight, exactly. More of a sparring match to see who is the King of the Brooder. It's quite natural for them to do that when establishing pecking order and when they're just playing.
