Chick grit

I want to treat my chicks with some scrambled eggs, but I can’t buy chick grit anywhere. Can I go take some small gravel off my driveway for them? Or play sand? Is there something else I can use as a chick grit?

A small amount of Scrambled eggs should be fine without Grit after 2 weeks of age.
