Chick Has Been In Hatching Stage For 12 Hours

We have a chick in an incubator, 1 already hatched easy took 5 hours, but this one broke the shell about 12 hours ago and is still cheeping but hasn't made any more progress, what should I do... I'm thinking to just leave it in the for a little bit longer, but just wondering.

Chicks can take 24 hours from first pip to hatch so I'd just keep the incubator closed and wait a few more hours.

It's like watching water boil, so I try to go do something else for a while. The wait is tough, I know.

Well I read that after they break the shell, it usually takes them 1 to 3 hours to get out, it broke the shell over 15 hours ago

Pipping is breaking the shell, and it can take 24 hours.
