Was outside working on the grow out coop (put in tile, added saftey hooks). Came in and saw one chick limping. Checked her out. This is what I found
Immediately cleaned with saline, put vetericyn plus on it, then Blu-Kote, then put a thin coat of Vaseline. Crushed a low dose asprin, mixed in a little water. Put it on her beak with dropper, she took a couple of drops. Will treat 2-3 times a day. After treating
She is eating and drinking and pooping like nothing is wrong. None of the others are bothering her.
Checked out what could have caused the injury. I think I found it. A tie wrap on the MHP, fixed that.
